According to Claret & Hugh, who have claimed that the defender looks set to leave West Ham. Johnson joined the Irons 17 years ago and made his Premier League debut in February 2019. Before signing a two-year contract extension, the full-back was named West Ham’s Young Player of the Season in both 2021 and 2022.

Johnson’s minutes have been limited, and he has just made one Carabao Cup appearance this season. With the 23-year-old’s current contract scheduled to expire next summer, West Ham reportedly offered him new terms, but he is dissatisfied with them. Because the defender is unlikely to accept the new deal, he will be made available for transfer.

Johnson could depart the club in January, but only if the Hammers find a successor. If not, he could choose to end his stay in the summer.

Everton are one of the clubs said to be interested in signing the England U21 international, with Southampton and Luton Town also keen.

Ben Johnson would be an excellent addition.
Ben Johnson has been highly promising for West Ham in the years since his debut, with back-to-back Young Player of the Season honors indicating he would undoubtedly be battling for a regular starting spot.

Johnson, on the other hand, is considered as Emerson’s backup, and David Moyes has found his adaptability highly useful, but is unwilling to meet his contract demands in order to keep him.

Johnson would be an excellent signing for the Toffees, who have struggled to find decent full-backs since the days of Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines.

The West Ham academy graduate is paid very little and would undoubtedly find a move to Goodison Park appealing, especially if they can stay in the Premier League. That depends on how hard he wants to stay in London.
