Enso Gonzalez, who is eagerly awaiting his opportunity to play for Wolves’ first squad, has disclosed that he has had conversations with Miguel Almiron, a player for Newcastle United.

In an interview with Versus, the Paraguayan actress shared his thoughts on his first three months in Molineux.

Gonzalez was acquired by Wolves from Libertad the day before the summer transfer deadline.

Matt Hobbs, the sporting director, stated that the player would be practicing with the first team and vying for a spot after the club paid about £5 million to acquire him.

However, Gary O’Neil recently stated that Gonzalez needs a lot of work and that he has just been playing for the U21 team.

Gonzalez, who is now going through a difficult time, has disclosed that he has received some guidance from his compatriot Almiron.

In his chat with Versus, Gonzalez said that if it were up to him, he would play the next match for the first-team.

He is aware that O’Neil doesn’t think he is quite ready yet, though.

Gonzalez has shared what Almiron said to him during Wolves’ match against Newcastle United last month, and the teenager will need to have patience. He also had a meeting with Brighton’s Julio Enciso.

“I spoke with Miguel after the Newcastle game, and I also met Julio at his house,” he stated. We swapped shirts, and both of them are wonderful individuals.

Miguel informed me that he experienced the same situation as not being able to play. Every day is the same as the last; you need to be prepared for everything.

Gonzalez will get there

Gonzalez sounds like he’s itching to play, but he also recognises that it’s unlikely he’ll do so anytime soon.

It is a huge change for him, coming over from South America to the Premier League. He was also going to need a bedding-in period.

It is nice to hear that his compatriots have looked out for him since he arrived at Wolves.

Almiron struggled when he first went to Newcastle, and is well-placed to offer Gonzalez advice.

Enciso has looked really promising at Brighton. He is currently injured, but last season he was also making a lot of appearances off the bench.

The hopes are high over Gonzalez, and he just needs to work hard and his chance will come eventually. At least for now, he is under close observation.
