On Sunday, Sheffield United travels to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.

Pervis Estupinan will make his comeback from injury on Thursday night when Brighton & Hove Albion takes on Ajax in the Europa League. This matchup comes before Sunday’s matchup with Sheffield United.

Due to a thigh injury he had during a Premier League match in September against Aston Villa, Estupinan has missed recent weeks of action. The player will start on the bench against Ajax, according to manager Roberto De Zerbi, and he should be in the running when the Blades travel to the south coast to play his team this weekend.

“Tomorrow he will be on the bench, I don’t want to take a risk with him, but now we don’t have too many solutions in that position” said De Zerbi on Wednesday ahead of Brighton’s clash with Ajax.

“We are trying to get him in the condition to play tomorrow or on Sunday because we have another important game against Sheffield United.”

Tariq Lamptey will not play for Brighton against Sheffield United; he is expected to return during the international break. Due to knee injuries, Solly March, Julio Enciso, and Jakub Moder are all out, and Danny Welbeck will be sidelined until after Christmas after hamstring damage sustained against Manchester City.

The Seagulls’ most recent game ended in a 1-1 draw with Everton, although they have performed better at home, where they have 11 points from six games as opposed to seven from five away. De Zerbi says he will remain true to his values going forward, despite his patchy play in recent weeks.

“We will never change,” he declared. Do you know why, too? It is as a result of our small staff size. A large team can just concentrate on the end result since they can discover the ideal moment to score or play strong defence in 90 minutes. Our players are young. Our style and passion have been very important, and I am a young coach.”
