As they search for more offensive weaponry, Crystal Palace may now turn their attention to teenage phenom Roony Bardghji, who appears to be about to make a major move.
The 17-year-old, who last week’s thrilling Champions League victory over Manchester United saw him come off the bench for FC Copenhagen, is drawing interest from several teams.
This season, the teenager has scored 11 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions. He can play through the middle or on the right wing. It has now been revealed that Bardghji might end up at Selhurst Park.
Roony Bardghji is of interest to Crystal Palace.
According to a story published on journalist Alan Nixon’s Patreon, the Swedish attacker is almost definitely going to leave Copenhagen. However, if the Danish team is to have a fantastic Champions League knockout run, it is more possible that he will go in the summer.
Bardghji is reportedly admired by Crystal Palace, as well as by other Premier League teams and the French team Nice. It’s unclear, though, if the club will take action on this interest in January or if it will wait until the summer.
Bardghji, who is only 17 years old, might not be old enough to start for Palace at right wing, where Jordan Ayew and Michael Olise are likely to be chosen ahead of him despite his incredible season thus far.
