Everton could be sued by other clubs after their 10-point deduction from the Premier League.

Arsenal linked with Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Arsenal have been linked with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the past and speculation is starting to do the rounds again ahead of the January transfer window.

According to TEAMtalk, the Gunners have put the Toffees striker back in their shortlist as they look to bolster their attacking ranks in the New Year.

Arsenal have had long-term interest in Calvert-Lewin and now have him back on the watchlist as he returns to form, claimed the report.

As well as the Gunners, Premier League rivals Newcastle United are reportedly also in pursuit of the 26-year-old forward.

Calvert-Lewin is heading into the last 18 months of his contract at Everton. With the club currently struggling and having been deducted 10 points, his future at Goodison remains to be seen.

Injuries have plagued the striker, but he has managed seven starts in the Premier League this season. He has four goals and one assist from 11 outings in all competitions.

Despite Calvert-Lewin’s return to fitness and form, and the ensuing interest from the likes of Arsenal, Everton will fight to hold on to the player, added the report.
