It was another busy weekend of football with many of our Everton loanees in action for their temporary clubs. Here is an overview of how some of our players performed in this week’s Loan Watch

Harry Tyrer – Chesterfield
Opponent: Eastleigh (H)
Competition: National League
Date: Saturday 25 November
Result: 3-2 win
Overview: Tyrer made another start for league-leading Chesterfield, as they picked up three points over Eastleigh to put them 11 clear at the top of the table.

The young goalkeeper was called on to make a plethora of top saves for his team – one of which arrived just seconds before their third goal.

Three goals up with 20 minutes remaining, a clean sheet looked likely for Tyrer, before Eastleigh threatened a late comeback. Goals in the 75th and 81st minute asked questions of the home side, but the Spireites held on for the victory.

Zan-Luk Leban – Farsley Celtic

Opponent: Hereford (H)
Competition: National League North
Date: Saturday 25 November
Result: 0-0 draw
Overview: Goalkeeper Leban put in a solid display to help his side towards a clean sheet on Saturday.

Just a point separated the sides going into the game, and they proved to be evenly matched during the 90 minutes.

With just four minutes remaining, Leban made a great save to deny Adam Rooney’s free header at the back post.

Stanley Mills – Oxford United
Opponent: Cheltenham (A)
Competition: League One
Date: Saturday 25 November
Result: 2-0 defeat
Overview: Both sides ended Saturday’s encounter with 10 men, as Oxford fell to a disappointing defeat to Cheltenham.

Making consecutive starts for the U’s, Mills played the first 45 minutes and recorded a 100 per cent pass-completion rate. A goal down at half-time, Oxford conceded again in the second half – not long after Mills’ teammate Ruben Rodrigues was dismissed.

Reece Welch – Forest Green
Opponent: Walsall (A)
Competition: League Two
Date: Saturday 25 November
Result: 0-0 draw
Overview: Arriving onto the field after 70 minutes, centre-back Welch contributed towards a well-earned clean sheet for Forest Green on the road.

The young defender will be hoping for more minutes when his side take on Bradford City on Tuesday evening.

Neal Maupay – Brentford
Opponent: Arsenal (H)
Competition: Premier League
Date: Saturday 25 November
Result: 1-0 defeat
Overview: Brentford fell to an 89th-minute Kai Havertz goal in the all-London clash on Saturday.

In a close encounter, Maupay was introduced in the 72nd minute, replacing Yoane Wissa at 0-0.

The French forward came close to opening the scoring just five minutes after his arrival, as he saw his header blocked on the line, before the ball was drilled back towards him, and he misguided an effort just wide.

Lewis Warrington – Plymouth Argyle
Opponent: Sunderland (H)
Competition: Championship
Date: Saturday 25 November
Result: 2-0 win
Overview: Warrington was an unused substitute as Plymouth earned an impressive win over Sunderland.
