Three Everton players may be ruled out of the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, 2 December, according to Ben Dinnery.

The injury expert revealed on his website Premier Injuries that both Dele Alli and Andre Gomes are “ruled out” of the clash against Steve Cooper’s side.

Right now, Amadou Onana has been given a 50 per cent chance of being fit for the game.

Need Onana back

Onana is crucial to a Sean Dyche managed team due to his dynamic and combative style of play.

Under Dyche’s management, emphasis is often placed on a resilient and hard-working midfield and the Belgian perfectly fits the mould.

His ability to cover ground efficiently, break up opposition attacks, and distribute the ball effectively aligns with the boss’ tactical preferences.

Furthermore, Onana’s versatility in playing both as a defensive midfielder and box-to-box midfielder provides Dyche with tactical flexibility.

In the Englishman’s system, where a strong midfield presence is essential, Onana’s physicality and work rate contribute to the team’s defensive solidity and ball-winning capabilities.

The 22-year-old has become a linchpin in Dyche’s Everton, embodying the manager’s philosophy of disciplined and hard-fought football in the heart of the team and with him, their chances of getting the desired result increase.
