Everton manager Sean Dyche makes four enforced changes from the side that start the 2-0 victory over Chelsea for Saturday evening’s clash with Burnley.

Jarrad Branthwaite and Idrissa Gana Gueye both serve one-match suspensions after picking up five yellow cards this season, while Vitalii Mykolenko misses out with a minor groin injury and Ashley Young is also absent from the matchday squad.

That could potentially trigger a change in shape from Dyche, who recalls Michael Keane, Ben Godfrey, Nathan Patterson and Amadou Onana to his starting line-up for the evening clash in Lancashire.

Jordan Pickford continues in goal, while James Tarkowski captains the Blues on his return to Turf Moor having spent six-and-a-half seasons with the Clarets.

James Garner, Jack Harrison Dwight McNeil, Abdoulaye Doucouré and Dominic Calvert-Lewin also retain their starting berths.

On the bench, goalkeepers Joao Virginia and Andy Lonergan are joined by Arnaut Danjuma, Beto, Youssef Chermiti, Mackenzie Hunt, Lewis Dobbin, Elijah Campbell and Jenson Metcalfe.

Everton starting XI: Pickford, Patterson, Keane, Tarkowski (c), McNeil, Onana, Calvert-Lewin, Harrison, Doucouré, Godfrey, Garner.

Everton substitutes: Virginia, Lonergan, Danjuma, Beto, Chermiti, Hunt, Dobbin, Campbell, Metcalfe.
