Roy Keane has been predicting what he thinks the score will be when Forest face Brentford on Saturday in the Premier League.
The pundit has been speaking on the Stick to Football podcast.
So, what has Keane said about Forest and their trip to Brentford this weekend? We take a closer look…
Keane predicts Brentford vs Nottingham Forest outcome
Well, it would appear that the man who started his career in England with Forest is expecting a cracker this weekend.
The Reds travel to the Brentford Community Stadium in decent form under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Over Christmas, big wins were claimed over Newcastle and Manchester United; with Forest edging past Blackpool in the FA Cup too.
Brentford aren’t in great form at all and in the Premier League, they have lost their last five matches.
Keane fancies Forest to get something from the game in London.
He told the Stick to Football podcast: “I think Forest will get something. On the counter-attack, they have a decent start (under Nuno). I’m going to go for 2-2.”
Forest must deal with Ivan Toney sideshow
It seems written in the stars that Toney is going to come back with aplomb for Brentford on Saturday.
His eight-month ban for breaching betting regulations is over and Thomas Frank will surely unleash him.
Forest can’t get embroiled in any of that. however, and must do a professional job on the talisman this weekend.
Keane could have a point – although with Forest missing so many players it promises to be a tough game.
Forget Brentford’s form before this one, they will fancy using the return of Toney as a springboard to return to winning ways.
Nuno Espirito Santo has Forest very organised, however, and hopefully, Keane can be right about the Reds playing positively on Saturday.
