Beale has only been at the club since mid-December
Following Sunderland’s loss to Hull City, supporters vociferously jeered Michael Beale out, and there have been demands for his dismissal.
The former Rangers manager was binned at Ibrox and only recently joined the Black Cats. In eight games, he has only managed two victories and five losses. Some fans felt that the Englishman’s career was coming to an end after his team’s loss to the Tigers at home this evening. They vented their frustration on social media.
The former Gators coach was accused by some of taking Sunderland backwards from a creative football team to one without in ideas, while others brought up the “sacked in the morning” cries from the stands.
One blasted: “Get Michael Beale out of this football club. What an utterly awful appointment. Sack him. Sack him now and admit you got it wrong. Pathetic.”
Another added: “Will Michael Beale outlast the lettuce?” as one commented: “Michael Beale has to go. Nothing can defend that performance.”
A fourth wrote: “Never seen a more stinking appointment at Sunderland than Michael Beale. Absolutely clueless from start to finish. Just f***ing stinks of Phil Parkinson man, get rid of him asap.”
One said: “The sooner Michael Beale leaves my football club the better. Shambles of an appointment.”
